Episode #4
NIGHTTIME
Air date: November 1996
24 min.

Our fourth episode in the series is based on a short story I wrote back in 1990. It's very different from my short story but the concept is still the same. A campus TV station manager (Brett McDavid) finds a show on public access that he's dying to get, but he has to sell his soul to the devil to get it. One of the best episodes in the series in my opinion. By this time I was coming into my own and getting better in the art of moviemaking. I was influenced by Herschell Gordon Lewis' Wizard of Gore. We even quote the film when the devil himself (played by ICON member Luis Matos) says the line "Torture and terror has always fascinated mankind." The episode also features another cameo from Dan Goncalves and myself as two detectives and is the debut of Creeping Death scream queen Elizabeth "ELi" Leaberry, who later stars in four other episodes including playing the new Madame Eve.
