WARHAMMER Air date: February 1997 35 min. This has to be my all time favorite episode of the whole series. Loosely based on a short story I wrote back in 1989 entitled The Toys and also based on Games Workshop's war strategy game Warhammer 40,000. Which was a game me and my roommates played which is kind of like Risk and G.I. Joe on crack. Where you have an army which are very expensive miniatures along with they're massive weapons and vehicles. You can also choose different races of armies which go from humans, aliens, and demon like creatures. I kind of got bored with the game after a few times playing it, but my friends were really into it. Even in going so far as to have a huge table in our living (which was the couch turned over with a thick piece of pile wood on top of it). On experiencing this I had to turn it into a Creeping Death episode. In the story, a man (Steve Tanzy) gets caught up in the game, Warhammer, who buys tons of miniatures and accessories and eventually gets obsessed with it to the point where he starts ignoring his girlfriend (Elizabeth"ELi" Leaberry). The one thing he has a problem with is winning. He can't win one single game. That's when the miniatures come to life and try to help him win, but they want his soul in return. Features a soundtrack from Black Sabbath, Pantera, Magadeth, and other heavy metal favorites.
